Lindsay Lohan and Brody Jenner avoided being photographed together Friday night as the two hit night clubs in New York, but while inside they got pretty cozy, sources tell PEOPLE.

The pair were spotted “all over each other” at Beatrice Inn. They stayed about 30 minutes and then headed to another celebrity hot spot, The Box, along with buddy Frankie Delgado. Reportedly, they both lingered until 3:30 a.m.

“She likes him. It’s early, but they are more than friends,” a source says of Lohan. “He seems to like her back. They’re actually sweet together, it would be nice if she kept him around.”

On the other hand, Brody recently told PEOPLE that his “new girlfriend” Cora Skinner had “met the parents” and “She’s part of the family.”

It’s getting hard to keep up!

A rep for Jenner did not return calls for comment.

While Brody Jenner and Lauren Conrad consider rekindling their relationship on The Hills, Conrad is already getting the go-ahead from Jenner’s parents.

At a recent celebrity golf tournament hosted by the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Bruce Jenner told PEOPLE, “I wouldn’t watch %26#91;the show%26#93; probably if it wasn’t for Brody. But I try to get in as many %26#91;episodes%26#93; as I possibly can.” And it’s proven to be a good way to keep a close eye on his son’s romantic entanglements.

Though Jenner says he has a “hard time trying to keep up with all the drama on that show,” he admits he’s tuned in enough to make a judgment call on whether Conrad would be a good person for his son to date.

“I have no problem with that,” he said. “Brody’s a good kid. He’s dated a lot of girls and yeah, Lauren would be very good.”

When asked how she felt about getting Mr. Jenner’s approval at the launch party for the new videogame “Assassin’s Creed” Tuesday night, Conrad laughed, before revealing that he wasn’t the only one she’d impressed.

“When I kissed him on his birthday, his mom %26#91;Linda Thompson%26#93; was there, and walked over and gave him the double thumbs,” she tells PEOPLE. “I almost died!”

Fresh off his birthday celebration in Las Vegas, Brody Jenner says there’s more to what happened with Hills costar and former flame Lauren Conrad.

“There was a lot of things they didn’t show,” Jenner said of the multiple kisses he shared with Conrad when she surprised him at the party, which was the focus of the show’s latest episode. “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”

Jenner remained coy about the possibility of a rekindled romance at Tuesday night’s opening of the SKY360 Lounge by Delta in New York City. “I talk to her every day, it’s just like any other friend,” he told PEOPLE.

It was just one year ago that the reality stars were an official item. And, in March, Conrad told PEOPLE she remains friends with most of her exes - Jenner included.

Jenner is less friendly with his ex-girlfriend Nicole Richie it seems. “I don’t think she’d accept any baby gifts from me,” he said of his childhood friend. “I think she’ll be a great mom.”

• New couple alert? Haylie Duff, partying with beau Brody Jenner and some friends (including Hilary Duff) at West Hollywood’s Hyde. The pair sat side-by-side, laughing and appearing to have a wonderful time. Soon, they split from the younger Duff and ventured outside to the patio where, an onlooker tells us, the two whispered into each other’s ears. A source says they’re close friends, but according to an onlooker, the pair was inseparable.

• And speaking of couples hanging out at Hyde: Adrian Grenier and his girlfriend were spotted partying at the West Hollywood hotspot. According to a fellow clubgoer, the couple cuddled at their table as they observed the crowd and the Entourage star sipped from a bottle of Sierra Nevada beer. While the actor greeted friends throughout the night, his girlfriend stuck by his side the whole time.

• Elton John just can’t resist a good bargain - well, by his standards, of course. The singer hit up the summer sales with hubby David Furnish around London’s glitzy Sloane Street. Two stops on the singer’s shopping itinerary: Chanel and Bottega Veneta. And an onlooker tells us: “He came out with piles and piles and piles of bags!”

• Grey’s Anatomy actress Sandra Oh and her musician boyfriend Andrew Featherston, slipping into a blue velvet booth at Hollywood’s Velvet Margarita Cantina for dinner. Wearing a long summer dress and braids in her hair, Oh snuggled up to her boyfriend as they both enjoyed a casual meal that included salads, chips and salsa.

• Sting and wife Trudie Styler, eating at Miami’s Blue Door at Delano not once, but twice, in the same week. Following the Police’s South Florida concert, the pair dined and danced up a storm! Then on his second visit, the rocker ate a mixed green salad with sea bass and was drinking Groth Sauvignon Blanc.
