With so many celebrities guest-starring on How I Met Your Mother these days, what’s going on behind the scenes?

In Kim Kardashian’s case, she introduced the cast to her own mother.

“Everyone on the set was extremely kind and so fun to work with!” writes the Dancing with the Stars alum on her Web site Friday. “Bob Saget, who is the show’s narrator, and cast member Jason Segel were there as well as my own mother, who everyone got to meet. Ha!”

Kim - who plays herself in the episode - also gave some juicy tidbits about her part. Writes Kim in her blog, “I am on the cover of a weekly magazine and I come to life! So, I had to film it all on a green screen! ”

And the budding actress seems nothing but happy about the experience. “I can’t wait to see the show,” she adds. “I really had a great time and hope this opens up other opportunities for me in the acting world.”

Kim Kardashian will be making the transition from reality start to guest star Wednesday, taping an appearance on CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, a rep for the network tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Kardashian, who was voted off of Dancing with the Stars Oct. 1, will be joining fellow reality stars (and her step-brother Brody Jenner’s former BFF) Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag in the episode, where they will be playing “magazine cover versions of themselves,” according to a show rep.

• Kim Kardashian, celebrating mom Kris Jenner’s 53rd birthday at Michael Mina’s XIV restaurant in West Hollywood

with an 11-course dinner and champagne. The reality stars marked the

occasion with 16 friends and family members, including Khloe and Kourtney. The group also enjoyed cake - and a

surprise visit from Lionel Richie, who was dining nearby and came

over to offer Jenner birthday greetings.

• Tao Las Vegas turned

three years old, and Ellen Pompeo was there

celebrating a milestone of her own: her first wedding anniversary with hubby

Chris Ivery. The Grey’s Anatomy star shared the

double celebration with Kate Walsh and her husband Alex Young. (Walsh held her bachelorette party at the Vegas venue.) The stars hung out at their own

VIP table, and were joined by the Office’s Jenna Fischer. Also having a time out: Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes, who sipped water and danced all night.

pair of Theory pants and some Elizabeth and James leggings during her visit

to the store.

Kim Kardashian is thrilled to hear that her friend (and fellow reality star) Kendra Wilkinson, 23, has gotten engaged to Philadelphia Eagles football star Hank Baskett.

But that doesn’t make Kardashian any more anxious to walk down the aisle with her own NFL-star beau, the New Orleans Saints’ Reggie Bush.

“I am so excited for Kendra,” Kardashian, 28, tells PEOPLE of the Girls Next Door star. “It’s good to see her happy. But this doesn’t change my feelings for Reggie or our relationship at all. It is good now, and I just let it flow.”

But she planned to jet out shortly after the event. “I am flying to New Orleans to help Reggie rehab from a football injury in hopes he can play in next week’s game,” she said. “I will be there with him all week.”

In addition to filming the new season of E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the reality TV star is also rehearsing for the grand finale of Dancing with the Stars.

“I absolutely loved doing the show %26#91;earlier this season%26#93; and wish I was still on,” she admitted. “It was hard work but I was really into it. And I made so many friends there! I am excited about going back.”

Here’s one gown you won’t see Kim Kardashian wearing on the red carpet.

The reality star donned hospital-wear to celebrate her 28th birthday Tuesday at an Alabama medical center, where boyfriend Reggie Bush was recovering from surgery after injuring his knee.

“I was supposed to be in London right now with Reggie but we had to cancel our trip,” she writes on her blog. “In %26#91;Sunday’s%26#93; game against the %26#91;North%26#93; Carolina Panthers, Reggie injured his left knee and needed surgery.”

Though she says the New Orleans Saints running back was “pretty bummed,” she, on the other hand, remains positive: “As long as he is okay, I will have the best birthday ever!!!!”

“When I saw him limp off the field,” she says, “my heart dropped!” But, ” He is recovering great and will be back on the field soon!”

• Kim Kardashian, treating herself to a milkshake - topped with sprinkles - at Millions of Milkshakes, a West Hollywood milkshake bar. And the reality star worked hard for her

dessert: She came from rehearsals for her stint on Dancing with the Stars, with her brother Rob in tow.

• Mischa Barton, lining up with the masses outside Earls Court to catch the Vivienne Westwood Red Label runway show as part of London Fashion Week. When the actress was recognized, though, she was escorted inside. Meanwhile, Emma Watson sat front row, snapping photos of the models on her red mobile phone. Afterward, the Harry Potter star skipped going backstage to slip into a gray London taxi. Also at the show: Pamela Anderson who, appropriately, sported a Vivienne Westwood design.

• Saturday Night Live pals Seth Meyers, Rachel Dratch and a pink-clad, very pregnant Amy Poehler, laughing over chitarra and tagliolini pasta and some Chianti at Vento in New York. While Poehler did not drink, the group repeatedly toasted her spot-on impression of Sen. Hillary Clinton as well as her upcoming departure from late night television.

• They hang out even when the cameras are not rolling. Mad Men star (and Emmy nominee) Jon Hamm, chatting with Christina Hendricks over drinks at Kate Mantilini in Beverly Hills. Hendricks ordered a lemon martini and talked to Hamm, in a pinstriped suit. Soon, Elisabeth Moss arrived, hair down, and ordered a glass of champagne, which she drank while chatting with her costars. Soon, others arrived - including January Jones and John Slattery - and the group sat at a long table in the center of the restaurant for a late supper. Dining on chicken, penne pasta and Caesar salad, the group looked like one big family.

• Eddie Murphy, partying and dancing to live music at L.A.’s Les Deux while out with a “very pretty” new lady friend.

• He may be an Academy Award-nominated actor, but Ryan Gosling continues to moonlight as a deejay: The actor hit the turntables at L.A.’s Green Door, spinning during the hip lounge’s weekly jazz night. The actor, who

arrived sans Rachel McAdams, chatted with fans, bopped

his head to the music and, later, checked out the live jazz. After the

band finished its set, Gosling resumed deejaying, sipping on bottled water

and playing songs by Michael Jackson and indie artist M.I.A.

• Still just friends? Kirsten Dunst, checking out

folk-rocker Meiko in concert at L.A.

club the Roxy with Drew Barrymore’s ex Justin Long. The duo

must be big fans of the artist because they took in a second show

together at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, Calif., the following night. The

Kim Kardashian’s beau Reggie Bush may wear No. 25 on the football field, but he’s No. 1 to her - in fact, he may be The One.

“I hope so,” Kardashian said after being asked if she’s found Mr. Right. “I think I finally made the right choice. He’s just a really sweet, normal guy.”

As for marriage, “we talk about it,” says Kardashian. “As soon as we’re done filming %26#91;Keeping Up with the Kardashians%26#93; I’m probably going to spend most of my time in New Orleans for a little bit until he’s done %26#91;with the NFL season%26#93;.”

“I did iChat him and I had my costume on for his approval,” she says. “I did my whole dance for him when I was practicing last night. He thought it was so cute. He said, ‘Please videotape it so you can send it to me right after.’”

As for cameras at a bigger event, say a wedding, that’s still up for debate.

“Without cameras,” Kardashian says, before adding, “They’re going to want it, so you never know.”

• Are the reality TV cameras trailing them? Kim Kardashian, indulging in a little pampering with a stop at a Beverly Hills nail salon with her mom, Kris Jenner.

• Another mother-daughter duo, Miley Cyrus and mom Tish, doing a little private “shopping” at Alison Brod Public Relations’ showroom in New York. The starlet, outfitted in a flannel shirt and jean shorts, was “sweet,” a source says, as she looked through the clothing and chocolate. Cyrus left with makeup, jewelry, as well as Stetson hats and boots.

• David Beckham, enjoying a sweet finish to his dinner at STK in New York. That’s because the footballer ordered cotton candy! Beckham also drank water during his meal with two friends at the swanky eatery.

• Adam Levine and his Maroon 5 bandmates, bowling at The Dolce Group’s Ten Pin Alley in Atlanta. According to a source, the singer was having a ball - maybe because he was bowling a strong game. Levin nearly broke 200, and played “the game of his life.” The band also happily posed for pictures with fans at the alley.

• Denzel Washington, relaxing in the sun and puffing on cigars at Nikki Beach Saint-Tropez - all while chatting with wife Paulette on the white linen daybeds.

• Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz, taking his third row seat at the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights on Broadway. Earlier that week, the musician caught the final performance of Passing Strange, also on Broadway.

Move over Diddy! Kim Kardashian’s got her own white party in the Hamptons.

Traditionally, Diddy’s famous Hamptons white party takes place at his house in East Hampton at the end of the summer, but last season he also presided over a season-opener at The White House, a sprawling nightclub in Hampton Bays.

But this year, Kim Kardashian, in a form-fitting white dress by Herve Leger, and boyfriend Reggie Bush, also in all white, headlined the event.

“White is actually one of my favorite colors,” Kardashian told PEOPLE while hanging out in the raised VIP section of the club. “I have a white car. I love white. When the opportunity came up to be in the Hamptons - I’d never been in the Hamptons before - and to host a white party at the White House, it just seemed right.”

“I’m not doing interviews,” Bush said. But he let Kardashian speak for him.

“His training camp starts in a week in New Orleans and he just started his mini camp, so he has the next few days off before he buckles down,” she said.

What makes him a good boyfriend? “The fact that he came with me all the way to the Hamptons on his day off when all of his friends are in Las Vegas on their usual - you know, %26#91;getaway%26#93;.”

As for the sparkling ring she was wearing, Kardashian told PEOPLE, “I’m about two months pregnant right now and we’re getting married on August 8th of 2008.”

Bush appeared stricken until she added, “It’s a joke.”

But the possibility is still very real. When asked if she’d like to have kids one day and get married, Kardashian said, “Yes, of course. I’d love to get married.”

And then on cue, for photographers, she and Bush smooched on the lips.
