Leonardo DiCaprio showed some post-breakup goodwill Wednesday, as he watched his ex, Gisele B%26#252;ndchen, sashay her way through a music video.
Why was actor was on hand for a special preview screening of the clip for Blackcowboy’s “Come On” - which featured the supermodel’s cameo? Simple. The video marked the directorial debut of DiCaprio’s longtime friend, Kevin Connolly.
“%26#91;Gisele%26#93; has been a friend of the band for years,” Connelly told PEOPLE. “%26#91;She%26#93; promised to be in the video a while ago.”
And the model’s A-list ex certainly turned heads as he walked into the MySpace Celebrity-sponsored event with his all-male entourage including the Entourage star and their mutual pal Lukas Haas.
DiCaprio was more subdued, however, during the actual screening. As B%26#252;ndchen lit up the screen, the actor “kept his head planted in his hand and was quiet, just taking it in,” says an onlooker.
Possibly aware everyone would be on the lookout for his reaction, DiCaprio remained stoic until the very end - when he broke into a huge smile and clapped and whistled his congratulations to Connolly.

What’s it like to kiss Jennifer Aniston?
“It was the greatest day of my life,” Alec Baldwin told PEOPLE Wednesday at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge Dedication Gala in New York.
The two locked lips during last week’s episode of 30 Rock, where Aniston played a crazy friend of Tina Fey’s from Chicago.
Baldwin said kissing scenes as a rule tend not to be that good. “Whenever you do that with someone, it’s so fake. They’re getting paid to kiss you and I’m getting paid to kiss her. But she’s a doll,” he said.
“Jennifer is obviously someone who has a lot of things she could be doing with her time,” Baldwin said. “Jennifer Aniston could be making films, she could be shopping, she could be buying a private island somewhere - she could be doing virtually anything she wants to do. And for her to take time to come be with us, I’m very, very grateful.”
Next up for Baldwin’s onscreen love life is Salma Hayek, who plays his character’s girlfriend for five episodes.
“She was literally the most fabulous woman I’ve ever worked with,” Baldwin said about Hayek. “We’re all going to miss her. No one wants her to leave!”

As Thanksgiving looms, Ben Affleck is on his fourth trip in a year to the war-torn Central African nation of Congo - where at least 250,000 people have been displaced by the violence -. Affleck’s aim: to tour refugee camps and consult with aid workers.
“I’m not an expert in international affairs or diplomacy, but it doesn’t take that to see the tremendous suffering here,” the actor and filmmaker, who has made a documentary about the struggles there, told the Associated Press on Thursday in the regional capital of Goma.
“It’s not something that we as human beings can, in good conscience, ignore. … My hope in being here is primarily to bring attention to the fact that there’s a real lack of %26#91;assistance agencies%26#93; here, a real lack of money going to these folks.”
Affleck, 36, first focused his attentions on Congo when he learned of the country’s 1998-2002 war that claimed the lives of an estimated 5 million people. “This is a place where I can have a really big impact,” he said, noting how other big names had concentrated on equally daunting problems in Darfur.
“I think that, for better or worse, people with some profile in the arts have some currency to spend as celebrities,” he said. “And for a time, I didn’t spend that in any particularly productive way. And I got to a point where I thought, this is wasteful.”
There are fears that the current crisis in Congo could again sill into neighboring countries. The 1998-2002 war divided the vast nation into rival fiefdoms and drew in half a dozen African armies.

Got ink?
Rihanna certainly does. The singer showed off a new tattoo on her right wrist Wednesday, as she chatted with reporters at a UNICEF event.
“It’s tribal,” she said at the charity’s annual Snowflake Lighting Ceremony in New York’s Grand Army Plaza. “It represents strength and love.”
Rihanna also revealed that she got the exotic-looking tat while in New Zealand for a recent tour date.
“It’s their traditional way of tattooing,” she said of the Maori-inspired geometric design. “I always wanted %26#91;one%26#93;.”
The “Disturbia” singer has a number of other tats - including a cluster of stars on her neck. (Boyfriend Chris Brown has a matching set.)

Trial started Wednesday in a cyber-bullying trial with a federal prosecutor asking a Los Angeles jury to find that a Missouri woman “hatched a plot to prey on the psyche of a 13-year-old girl” that ended in suicide.
U.S. Attorney Thomas O’Brien said Lori Drew posed as a 16-year-old boy in 2006 to flirt with her young neighbor Megan Meier - knowing Megan was both boy-crazy and depressed - then ended the online exchange by writing: “The world would be a better place without you.”
Megan wrote back, “You are the kind of boy a girl would kill herself over,” O’Brien told the jury. “Thirty minutes later, Megan Meier was dead.”
Meier cried as she recalled how the MySpace exchange ended with a flurry of hateful messages from the imaginary Josh Evans and two girls.
Shortly afterward, Meier recalled, she had a sense something was wrong and ran to Megan’s room.
“I opened the door and found her hanging in the closet,” she testified as she wept.
Defense attorney H. Dean Steward said Drew knew very little about MySpace and computers. He said the evidence suggests Drew’s teenage employee and other young girls wrote the e-mails that allegedly set Megan over the edge while Drew wasn’t even home.
After Meier’s testimony, Steward renewed his motion for a mistrial, saying such heart-wrenching testimony was inappropriate in case of alleged cyber-fraud - authorities are not alleging murder or manslaughter - and the jury shouldn’t be hearing about the suicide at all.
Judge George H. Wu rejected the motion. Last week, Wu noted the case was just made the subject of an episode of Law %26 Order: SVU. Rather than try to find jurors who never heard about the case, he suggested attorneys find jurors not unduly influenced by what they might already know.
Drew, who lives in a St. Louis suburb, could get up to 20 years in prison if convicted of one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization. Jurors could also convict her of a misdemeanor.

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy may have more experience being a first lady than Michelle Obama, but the French president’s wife says she’s in no position to give advice to the next first lady of the United States of America.
“I must say she doesn’t need advice,” Bruni-Sarkozy, who married Nicolas Sarkozy in February, told Matt Lauer on Wednesday’s Today show. “It would be better for me to get advice from her!”
“France was extremely enthusiastic about it,” says Bruni-Sarkozy. “I’m looking forward to meeting Michelle Obama. She looks like she’s a great, strong, intelligent woman.”

Life is never lonely on the road for Seal thanks to his wife, Heidi Klum.
Among the many special gestures that the supermodel does for her husband: “She packs for me with beautiful notes in my luggage that I discover,” Seal, 45, tells PEOPLE. “She’s always doing sweet things.”
The same could be said for Seal, who jetted to Miami to see Klum, 35, show off her killer body at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show this past weekend. “I’m supposed to be working,” says the singer, who was promoting his new album Soul, a collection of classic soul songs, in New York City last week. “But I managed to move things around so I headed to Miami.”
But the couple also loves family time - and the kids even help Seal with his work. Still, the singer says that Leni, 4, Henry, 3, and Johan, who turns 2 on Nov. 22, can be some of his toughest critics. When playing his new album for the trio “they make it known what they like and they’re pretty good litmus test,” says the proud dad.
While it’s too early to tell if any of the kids will follow in his musical footsteps, Henry “definitely inherited a lot of my traits - hopefully not the bad ones!”
As for Johan and Leni, they “are very much like Heidi,” says Seal. “They’re both very kind, very playful and always in a good mood.”
