Things haven’t been faring very well for Amy Winehouse, and earlier today (November 17) she was up to her old tricks again with some bizarre behavior.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress was spotted making her way out of her North London home, looking a bit disheveled and acting rather incoherent.

When asked what she was up to, Winehouse replied that she was on her way to see her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who had been released from jail earlier this month to undergo drug and alcohol rehab.

However, after driving around her Camden neighborhood for about ten minutes, Amy returned to her house, with no explanation as to what was going on.

There’s never a dull moment when Amy Winehouse is involved. And last night she was up to her usual randomness as she cavorted around North London.

The troubled “Rehab” singer paid a visit to her old flat in Camden in search of her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was recently released early from prison.

Winehouse banged on the door of her old residence and screamed in vain for Blake, but there was sadly no reply. Amy’s gal pal Remi Nicole passed by in a friend’s car and stopped to make sure she was alright.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress eventually gave up and began on her way back home, signing an autograph for a fan in his own name. On the way she barged into a neighbor’s house before she entered her own home and spoke to the paparazzi via her intercom.

If there’s one celebrity who seems to violate all notions of logic, it’s Amy Winehouse. And earlier today (November 11) she was spotted getting wasted in the middle of the day.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress was out this afternoon with a few friends as she walked down the street to a nearby pub for a drink and a snack.

Despite all of her past troubles with alcohol, Winehouse was all about ordering shots of tequila and downing pints of beer, all the while flirting with her friend Blake Wood.

With her husband being released early from prison to go straight into rehab, you gotta wonder why in the world Amy is conducting herself in such a way. Then again, it’s nothing new.

In the ongoing bizarre life of Amy Winehouse, this morning the troubled singer was spotted sporting a new curly hairdo as she stepped out of her North London home to borrow a paparazzo’s mobile phone.

The “Rehab” songstress then disappeared inside for a bit before returning with the phone as well as some slices of toast with cheese as a thank-you gift to the shutterbugs.

Throughout her conversation with the photogs, it was learned that the reason behind Amy’s lack of social activity as of late was a rash that needed medical attention.

In related news, it sounds like Winehouse is already planning ahead when it comes to her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s recent release. According to a source, her father Mitch has called in lawyers to protect her fortune for the time being.

She may have notched a World Music Award, but Mariah Carey had another very important thing on her mind last night - her husband of six months, Nick Cannon.

“It’s a blessing to live this life. Thanks to the fans and for the 18 number one singles I’ve had,” Carey, 39, told the crowd after receving a special achievement honor from presenter Alicia Keys. “Special shout to my husband and best friend Nick, I love you.”

The show opened with a high-energy performance by Beyoncé. Wearing black leather pants and a white blouse, she brought the crowd to their feet by performing a medley of her tunes. Later in the evening, she won an award for outstanding contribution to the arts.

The big winner of the night was U.K. band Coldplay, who were crowned the best selling recording act.

Estelle, the singer of “American Boy” and winner of best new R%26B act, told PEOPLE, “I have no American Boy in my life but I wish I had.”

Other winners included Leona Lewis for both new artist and pop female artist and Kid Rock for pop male artist. Troubled singer Amy Winehouse took home the award for pop/rock female.

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from prison yesterday, whereupon he immediately checked into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic.

And earlier today (November 6), Blake was spotted at the fence of his rehab facility, smiling and waving to fans and paparazzi who had gathered to bid him well wishes.

Fielder-Civil served just twelve months of a twenty-seven-month sentence for causing bodily harm of a pub owner and subsequently perverting the course of justice by trying to bribe his victim to keep quiet.

Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from jail Wednesday - and checked straight into rehab, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

Fielder-Civil, 26, was released nearly a year to the day after he was first arrested. On Nov. 8, 2007, eight plainclothes officers handcuffed him at his flat - while a hysterical Winehouse looked on - on charges stemming from a pub brawl of assault and perverting the course of justice. On June 5, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 27 months. Prisoners serve half their sentences, and by that point, Fielder-Civil had already served 254 days.

For his release, Fielder-Civil wore jeans, a red-and-white striped t-shirt, his trademark trilby - and a big smile. His only outward signs of having served time: a chipped front tooth and red scratches down his arms.

As part of the terms of his early release, Fielder-Civil has checked into rehab - something his mother told PEOPLE in October she didn’t think was the answer.

Asked what she thought was the answer, Georgette Civil said: “Coming home to us.”

It could still be weeks before Winehouse is reunited with her husband since rehab centers typically don’t allow visitors at the beginning stages of recovery.

Winehouse’s London rep had no comment, and Fielder-Civil’s lawyer did not immediately return telephone calls.
