As the second season of “Gossip Girl” continues to attract new viewers, the cast is working overtime to film new episodes. And earlier today (November 12), Taylor Momsen and Connor Paolo were busy shooting scenes in New York City.

The blonde beauty and her handsome co-star were spotted outside the “Gossip Girl” set located inside a Pinkberry store in uptown Manhattan.

Blake Lively recently told press that though the action onscreen can get a bit catty, everything is all good once the director yells ‘Cut!’

“I’ve never really had a competitive relationship in any work situation. The media is always trying to pit us against each other, I guess because it’s just not interesting to say, ‘Everyone gets along; everybody just works 18-hour days and goes home to sleep.’ That’s not fun to read, I guess.”

Forget the fancy restaurants and fame - one of the best parts of being on Gossip Girl for Blake Lively is having nice handbags, she says.

“I probably have, like, 60 gorgeous bags,” the 21-year-old tells W in the December issue. “I have a closet with my really sharp, fancy, nice ones - the ones that go with my Valentino pumps, for example. And then I have a closet with the ones that are a little more rugged-feeling, the kind that go with my Belstaff motorcycle boots.”

• Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, holding hands at an opulent opening party for Juicy Couture’s 5th Avenue flagship store in Manhattan. But that was the extent of the PDA for the Gossip Girl stars, who spent their time mingling with friends - including costar Jessica Szohr - and fans alike. At the bash, waiters made rounds with caviar canapes and mini hamburgers, while a church choir performed classic-rock hits and tutu-clad ballerinas danced in the windows.

• They’re back! After a hiatus of a few weeks Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Kyle Howard returned to their favorite spot,

Teddy’s inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, for jazz night. The pair made a beeline for the bar, and

Conrad sipped a Red Bull while chatting with her female friends. Howard

stood nearby, talking with his guy pals, but the two were never far apart.

Soon, though, the couple moved to a corner near the bar - and Conrad

was all over her beau, draping herself on him.

• Nicky Hilton, celebrating her younger brother Barron’s birthday at Les Deux in West Hollywood with beau David Katzenberg by her side. The two settled into a table in the outdoor lounge, and played it low-key. Hilton let her brother - and sister Paris, who arrived with a camera crew - be the center of attention. Later, the sisters wished Barron a happy birthday with a red velvet cake.

• Ever the gentleman, Nick Zano displayed perfect manners

when he took girlfriend Haylie Duff to BLT in West Hollywood. Says

a fellow diner: “Haylie cracked a smile when Nick rushed a few steps forward

to open the door for her.”

• Criss Angel, feeding girlfriend Holly Madison strawberries during a visit to Tryst nightclub inside the Wynn Las Vegas. The pair also shared

playful hugs and kisses - and definitely attracted the crowd’s

attention. The pair also visited Koi Las Vegas for a late-night meal. “They were kissing and sitting very close together looking very much like they were in love,” says a source. “They held hands and stayed close.”

• Taking a break from filming Middle Men in Scottsdale, Ariz., Luke Wilson, stopped by RA Sushi for quality time with girlfriend Meg Simpson. The two sipped beers on the warm afternoon, and got cozy at their table.

Continuing to film scenes for their recently extended 25-episode season, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were hard at work in Brooklyn on Monday morning (November 3).

Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Ed Westwick were all on-hand at the cemetery, walking back and forth from their trailers as they shot a funeral scene.

Meanwhile, a brand new episode of the hit CW drama airs tonight at 8/7C, eerily titled “There Might Be Blood”.

Of the episode, the CW Web site tells, “Serena (Blake Lively) invites Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori) to be her guest at a charity gala honoring Lily and Bart (Kelly Rutherford and guest star Robert John Burke), but after discovering a secret that Aaron has been keeping from her she begins to question whether Aaron is the guy she thought he was. Hoping it will help her chances of getting into Yale, Blair (Leighton Meester) naively agrees to babysit the 15-year-old daughter of a prominent Yale donor, but the teenager proves to be more than a handful and Blair begins to suspect that the evening may actually wind up hurting her chances of getting into the college of her dreams. According to Entertainment Weekly, “the network recently handed two further episodes to ‘Gossip Girl,’ but has now asked for one more installment, taking its sophomore season to 25 episodes.”

The brand new season of “Gossip Girl” keeps heating up, and earlier today Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were spotted on their way to work in Queens, New York.

Braving the cold, rainy weather, the on/off-screen lovers hid beneath an umbrella and kept bundled up with coats and scarves, stopping for a smooch along the way.

And according to Miss Lively, her adorable pooch sometimes steals the show. And she say that it’s just fine with her.

Blake told press, “Anytime anybody comes up to me, I always get a little shy. But I have my cute dog now so a lot of people come up to me and they’re like, ‘Oh, my gosh, are you . . .’ and I think they’re going to ask if I’m from Gossip Girl, and they say, ‘with that really cute dog?’ Yeah.”

Blake recently returned to NYC following a trip home to Los Angeles to visit her hospitalized father. Ernie Lively was seriously injured in a car accident on October 13th, but it sounds like he’s on the road to recovery.

Of course, Blake was on the first flight home when she heard the news. A family friend revealed, “They are as close as any father and daughter could be — she was beside herself when she got this horrible news. Her dad taught her everything.”

Lively’s business partner and cousin Harold Smith told press, “He’s doing much better. His wife Elaine just called to say they’ve moved him to a regular room.”
