It was a definite highlight in the history of pop music, and last night both and Justin Timberlake made appearances at Madonna’s Los Angeles concert.

The show began with Spears and Madge collaborating on “Human Nature,” with Britney looking slick in a white frilly top and black trousers as she took the stage, looking happier than ever.

A concertgoer told press, “This was a completely different Britney from a year ago. She was glowing! It looked like she actually wanted to be on the stage.”

Later on in the show, Madonna was joined by Justin Timberlake for a dance-infused rendition of “4 Minutes,” a performance that had the crowd (which included celebs like Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore, Kate Moss, Ryan Seacrest and Fergie) singing and dancing along.

A few days before the gig, there were some technical problems, but that didn’t stop Madge. She told press, “Even though my stage roof was damaged and some lights and effects aren’t working, I want to do the show anyway because I don’t want to disappoint my fans.”

It’s the concert that everybody has been talking about all week, and last night Madonna’s Dodger Stadium gig was well-attended by some of Hollywood’s top celebrities.

Of course, it didn’t hurt that Madge announced that she’d be welcoming guest performers and Justin Timberlake to her stage.

Heidi Klum and Kate Moss both enjoyed the show, as well as singer/actress Jennifer Lopez, and actresses Amanda Bynes, Tila Tequila, and Lucy Liu.

But the most noteworthy celeb sighting of the night was most definitely “Heroes” hottie Hayden Panettiere, who showed off some serious skin in a matador-inspired black jacket/black trousers getup complete with a gold leash-style necklace and bright red lipstick.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Miss Moss will be teaming up with pop sensation Justin Timberlake, designer Marc Jacobs and Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour to kick off The Costume Institute’s annual gala benefit in May of 2009.

Press reports tell, “Themed ‘The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion,’ the show aims to explore fashion, and the changing ideals of beauty that accompanied different eras.”

“The idea of muses or models, whether it is someone you know or someone you have seen in an image, someone of your imagination or a creature of your own invention, is important to every designer and every collection,” said Marc Jacobs. “I hate talking about inspiration, but everyone needs a catalyst. We look at this person, this model, this muse, and we design for her. It seems like a kind of fundamental thing, but wide open for lots of great clothes.”

Kate Moss: Coming to America

Oct 30, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Hollywood Gossip

Continuing her travel-intensive lifestyle, Kate Moss was spotted arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport prepping for a transatlantic flight to Los Angeles on Thursday (October 30).

The English supermodel was joined by her once-again boyfriend Jaime Hince, with whom she arrived at the airport in a classic Rolls Royce motorcar.

Anticipating a chilly flight, Moss carried a blue cashmere blanket as she made her way through the terminal sporting an all-black ensemble and a massive right-hand diamond ring.

Smiling as she went, Kate’s good mood could possibly be attributed to the fact that her latest collection for Topshop caused a massive frenzy, with one designer dress selling all of its units in 15 minutes.

Otherwise, the British model seems happy with his life - and looks. “I worked with , , Christy Turlington, Helena Christensen - all the supermodels,” he said. “Turning up to a party filled with Hollywood stars became a pretty normal experience.”

How does he keep in such good shape? By boxing, his childhood career ambition. “I love boxing,” he says. “I have a punchbag in my house in LA - I use it every day.”

One thing he won’t do: Botox. “There are male models who do, but I’m studying to be an actor and I want to be able to make expressions with my face.”

Kate Moss Immortalized in $18 Million Gold Statue

Supermodel has officially earned her weight gold.

Thanks to British artist Marc Quinn, her famous face and figure have been immortalized as a solid-gold statue named Siren. Quinn estimates the value of the life-size sculpture at more than $18 million.

Weighing about 110 lbs., Siren is described by the British Museum in London as the largest solid-gold statue since Ancient Egyptian times. Yet, the statue features 34-year-old Moss in a yoga position, making it less than three feet tall.

“I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who’s the ideal beauty of the moment,” Quinn said of using Moss for the museum’s Statuephilia exhibition, which will premiere Oct. 4.

The exhibition is expected to run through Jan. 25, 2009.

Christmas lunch with Al Pacino, working with and … and love life questions from airport security guards?

That’s how it is for Samantha Ronson, ’s celebrity deejay girlfriend, and her two hipster siblings, music producer Mark and fashion designer Charlotte, who open up about their high-profile lives in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

When asked about la vida Lohan, a protective Ronson, 31 (who along with her older brother and twin sister dressed as the quirky title characters of the film The Royal Tenenbaums for the feature), says: “She’s great. She’s also 22 years old. I think people forget that.”

Still, the DJ laughs off curiosity about her relationship with Lohan.

“Even the airport security guy in Canada asked me, ‘So is it true?’” she says. “It’s like, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m telling you.’ ”

In an e-mail to Harper’s, Lohan wrote, “I love the Ronsons. They’re close to my ♥ and I respect all the work they do.” But, she adds: “Samantha and my relationship is a private matter.”

The Ronsons also share stories about their unconventional childhood. Mom, Ann Dexter-Jones, was a socialite and dad, Laurence Ronson, was a real-estate heir and band manager.

The two later divorced and Dexter-Jones remarried Mick Jones of Foreigner, leading to family events with Keith Richards and Daryl Hall of R%26B duo Hall %26 Oates.

But Christmas with Pacino was a huge highlight. Recalls Samantha: “I had just watched Scarface, and I don’t think I spoke.”

Kate Moss Enjoys Tycoon Role

Modeling may have made a star out of , but she admits to finding the profession “a bit brain-damaging.”

Still, Moss, 34, admits in the August issue of Vogue, “They are such good jobs that you don’t want to say no.”

Besides, she says, “I like making money. But I don’t call people up every day to see how much I’ve made. As long as I have what I need at the time; I mean, I can buy the house that I want. I am not completely money-oriented.”

“All that dressing up makes me say, ‘What do I want to wear? What do I want to do with Topshop?’ ” she says. “It all kind of leads into the other things.”

Moss, who is the face of Yves Saint Laurent, is also launching a perfume this month.

Personally, she says her reputation as a bad girl is exaggerated, and she prefers to concentrate on her role as mother to 5-year-old daughter Lila Rose.

“I’m a mum. All the time. Every day,” Moss says. “I put my daughter to bed.”
