Always up for a fun shopping opportunity, “Gossip Girl” hotties Leighton Meester and Jessica Szohr were spotted at the 5th Annual Lucky Shops charity event last night (November 6).
Miss Meester was a paparazzi darling as usual, striking a plethora of poses in the arrivals area in her one-shoulder black and magenta floral print dress, along with a pair of Roman gladiator-style heels.
Meanwhile, Jessica had her own posedown going on, sporting a black v-neck top teamed with a pair of black loose-fitting trousers and matching black shoes.
The Lucky Shops event was sponsored by Lucky Magazine and held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. All proceeds go to the Robin Hood charity.

Continuing to film scenes for their recently extended 25-episode season, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were hard at work in Brooklyn on Monday morning (November 3).
Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Ed Westwick were all on-hand at the cemetery, walking back and forth from their trailers as they shot a funeral scene.
Meanwhile, a brand new episode of the hit CW drama airs tonight at 8/7C, eerily titled “There Might Be Blood”.
Of the episode, the CW Web site tells, “Serena (Blake Lively) invites Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori) to be her guest at a charity gala honoring Lily and Bart (Kelly Rutherford and guest star Robert John Burke), but after discovering a secret that Aaron has been keeping from her she begins to question whether Aaron is the guy she thought he was. Hoping it will help her chances of getting into Yale, Blair (Leighton Meester) naively agrees to babysit the 15-year-old daughter of a prominent Yale donor, but the teenager proves to be more than a handful and Blair begins to suspect that the evening may actually wind up hurting her chances of getting into the college of her dreams. Meanwhile, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) and Agnes (guest star Willa Holland) plan a guerilla fashion show that will either launch Jenny’s star or ruin her chances of ever being accepted by the industry.”

Fond of Jessica Alba but lukewarm on Leighton Meester?
Make a trade.
The actresses, along with the likes of Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, Hayden Panettiere, Scarlett Johannson, Giovanni Ribisi, Nick Cannon and Eva Mendes, are all to be featured on baseball-style trading cards.
The PopCardz series will include stats such as the celeb’s favorite song, book, food, even their fears. “I’m afraid of the dark,” admits Jessica Biel on the back of her card.
Benefiting charities like The Art of Elysium and Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York, the cards, which run about three dollars per pack of five, will launch the first week of November. Select retailers will be listed on popcardz.com.
Adds Biel: “When I was a child these types of cards were geared towards the boys, so it is refreshing to see that PopCardz will appeal to both boys and girls.”

• Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, joining
Lindsay Lohan at a table in Los Angeles’s newest hot
spot, Crown Bar. (Lohan, recently back from Paris, was there with
BFF Samantha Ronson, who was deejaying at the club.) Richie sipped
on a glass of white wine, then danced up a storm with Lohan and some female
friends. Madden, meanwhile, chatted with his guy friends at the table. When
Ronson spun the New Kids on the Block’s “You Got It (The Right Stuff),”
Richie pointed at Lohan mid-dance.
• At one point, Lohan and Ronson took a smoke break on the patio, and
when Ronson was ready to go inside, Lohan leaned over and gave her a kiss on
the cheek as Lohan finished her smoke. Later in the night, Lohan, who was
cheering Ronson on all night, joined her pal behind the deejay booth.
• Around midnight, Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth said “hi” to Richie by the bar - then ditched their table
(with Stephanie Pratt) to join her on the dance floor. Richie and
Conrad held hands as they got down to the mix of retro and new songs.
• Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, celebrating their Nylon magazine covers with their Gossip Girl costars during an Armani Exchange-hosted dinner at Amalia in New
York. The ladies were joined by their male counterparts, Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford, who sat at the dinner with
some male buddies. While real-life couple Lively and Badgley didn’t get too romantic at dinner,
they did arrive (and leave) together, and whispered in each other’s ears at
the table. Also there: Michelle Trachtenberg, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and
Zachary Levi.
• Lauren Graham, chatting in an upbeat fashion after dinner
at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont with some friends. The former Gilmore Girls star wore her hair pulled back into a low, loose ponyta
and she sported a fitted cream blazer over dark pants and boots.
• Following New York Post reports that she recently
got “cozy” with a younger man at an upfronts party, Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps was spotted sitting with her husband, Alexandre Count de Lesseps, and causing a stir during dinner at Brio in New York. “They were loud; people were definitely looking,” an onlooker
tells us of the tense scene at the Italian restaurant. “The count looked
furious and she was leaning back in her chair.” Adds the onlooker: “He was
swearing and in a raised voice kept repeating to his wife, ‘You don’t
understand reality, you’re consumed by the show!’” But the couple denied any
strife on the red carpet at the American Image Awards. “Alex and I are very
happily married, and we’re very much together,” the countess tells us. And
her husband added: “I rarely speak about private matters, but I do agree
strongly with that.”

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester celebrated her 22nd birthday Saturday night in true Blair Waldorf fashion. The actress, dressed in a red, one-shoulder Armani mini-dress and Jill Stuart heels, partied with friends (including costars Nicole Fiscella and Sebastian Stan) at New York’s ultra-exclusive Bungalow 8. The birthday girl twirled and spun around the upstairs dance floor overlooking the club’s main room before being presented with a chocolate cake with vanilla icing by Fiscella and a club waitress. Meester sipped champagne as she continued to dance along to Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” and The Foundations’ “Build Me Up Buttercup,” until the wee hours of the morning.

Leighton Meester’s show Gossip Girl is one big hit. But could the young starlet consider switching to a career as a rapper?
“I have a huge range of songs,” Meester, 22, told the blog Just Jared at a promotional event in New York Wednesday about her burgeoning musical career.
Explains the actress: “%26#91;On%26#93; some of them I just talk, I do a little - not rapping - but talking, sort of spoken word. It’s a little Fergie, a little like Gwen Stefani and M.I.A.”
When it comes to her career, though, Meester is content to be just a double (not triple) threat. “I don’t think I’m going to be dancing but I definitely could,” she says in the interview. “My nickname use to be Happy Feet. If I’m standing there and music is playing on set, I’ll be doing this. People used to be like, ‘Why are you Happy Feet? You need to stop that now.’ ”
Yes, he’s dreamy. But Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester is shooting down talk of a romance with costar Chace Crawford.
“For the record, not true!” she told PEOPLE at the Monday night at The Help Group’s Annual Teddy Bear Ball, where CW head honcho Dawn Ostroff was being honored.
But the brunette, 21, does admit that Crawford is one of her favorite costars. “I’m really close to Chace,” she said. “We’re really good friends. %26#91;Along with%26#93; Nicole %26#91;Fiscella%26#93;, who plays Isabel on the show. We’re all just really happy people. We have the same views on life.”
Lively, for one, says she’s sick of all the, well, gossip. “The biggest thing I’ve noticed is they kind of want everybody to be their character,” the 20-year-old said. “Like Leighton %26#91;dating%26#93; Chace, and me and Leighton hating each other. Those are our characters on the show - that’s not us in real life.”
