As MTV brought their “Total Request Live” era to an end last night, Taylor Swift was in the house to pay her respects and say goodbye.

The “Love Story” songstress arrived at the MTV studios for the massive “Total Finale Live” event and hammed it up for the paparazzi, even posing with Kid Rock at one point.

And as always, Miss Swift was the center of attention, thanks to her sexy wardrobe which included a basic black one-shoulder minidress teamed with a pair of black suede heeled ankle boots.

“Total Finale Live” was just one of many high-profile stops for Taylor this past week, as she just released her sophomore album “Fearless,” and appeared on the CMA Awards.

The “So Yesterday” singer stopped by the “Total Finale Live” shindig at MTV’s Times Square Studios, joining the likes of Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and Mr. TRL himself, Carson Daly.

And of course, Miss Duff stole the show with her sexy ensemble, sporting a black belted minidress complete with a long black sheer see-through overlay and black heels.

Of her new single “Reach Out” (from her greatest hits album), Hilary told press, “It’s different for me. It’s a little dancey, and there’s a rapper named Prophet who’s on it who’s really cool and kinda fresh.”

She had an amazing night at the CMA Awards, and Taylor Swift recently opened up about her breakup with Jonas Brothers frontman Joe Jonas.

According to the “Love Story” songstress, Joe and actress Camilla Belle (she starred in JoBros “Lovebug” video) hooked up just as he was ending things with Swift. Taylor revealed, “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.”

Swift also mentioned that her preferred way of dealing with bratty guys is through songwriting. “I think they are starting to realize that if they are involved with me in any way, I will probably write a song about them. You know what, if they don’t want me to write bad songs about them, they shouldn’t do bad things.”

Why do this if you’re not going to take the opportunity to always have the last word, it’s so much fun.”

In a heartfelt letter to fans, Joe Jonas addresses his recent breakup with Taylor Swift, saying that certain “issues” led to a “change of heart.”

Although he doesn’t mention Swift by name, the teen idol makes clear in his MySpace post he’s referring to the country star, who has been speaking and singing about the split.

“Several things I will state with all my heart,” writes Jonas, 19, who’s now quietly dating actress Camilla Belle. “I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.”

“For those who have expressed concern over the ‘27 second’ phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person,” he writes. “Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk.”

Jonas doesn’t go into the specific reasons for the split.

“Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues,” he writes. “Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.”

He concludes by writing, “I wish the best for the other person, but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”

While Miley Cyrus had plenty of CMA Awards action last night, her boyfriend Justin Gaston was also in the house for Taylor Swift’s performance of “Love Story.”

The “7 Things” songstress told press, “I’m flying solo tonight. Justin is making an appearance in Taylor [Swift's] song. But that’s okay, because it means my two best friend are on stage at the same time!”

And though he was a bit preoccupied with his role in Miss Swift’s performance, Justin still made time for his sweetie. “I saw [Miley] briefly. She really looks pretty.”

Proud papa Billy Ray Cyrus even commented on how happy he is with his daughter’s choice of boyfriend. “Can you believe how far this kid has come? Just a few months ago when I first saw him perform on Nashville Star, I said he was going to be a big star. He’s got it all – talent, looks, personality. And look at him! Look where he is now!”

Joe Jonas sure doesn’t waste time: The singer, who recently split from Taylor Swift, has moved on and is now dating 10,000 BC actress Camilla Belle, a source tells PEOPLE.

After a rocky end to his relationship with the country darling, which Swift talked and sang about, the middle Jonas brother, 19, quietly began seeing 22-year-old Belle, who starred in the Jonas Brothers video “Lovebug.”

“They met on the set of his music video,” says the source. “All the guys always had thought she was really pretty and that’s why they asked her to be in it.”

But don’t expect to see these two on red carpets together anytime soon. “They are not public about it but they’ve just been hanging out with their friends and Joe’s brothers,” explains the source. “They are very private about it.”

So just how did Belle nab herself a Jonas Brother? “She’s a really good girl and it seems they share a lot of the same characteristics and morals,” says the source.

Reps for Jonas and Belle had no comment.
